A heart-warming, musical tribute to the great U.S. singer-songwriters of the late ’60s and early ’70s, featuring beautiful timeless songs from James Taylor, Carole King, Simon & Garfunkel, Joni Mitchell, Don Mclean, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Bread, America, The Byrds, Carly Simon and more.

Feel free to sing along to classics like ‘You’ve got a Friend, ‘You make me feel like a natural woman, ‘American Pie, ‘Fire and Rain’, ‘Big Yellow Taxi’, ‘River’, Starry Starry Night’, ‘Horse with no Name’, ’Mrs Robinson’, ‘Make it with you, ‘Feelin’ Groovy’, ‘California Dreaming’, ‘You’re So Vain’, ‘Woodstock’ and many many more!

The show has a relaxed acoustic style, matching the spirit of this era when many of these artists were neighbours in the Laurel Canyon suburb of L.A. With an excellent 5-piece band and an intimate nostalgic narrative including images, the show is sometimes poignant, sometimes funny, and always fascinating.

Hosted by Singer-guitarist Paul Wheeler (TV Director, 'Live at the Apollo') and Sophie Langham (West-End actress-singer and formerly Eastenders).

Paul is an accomplished guitarist and singer-songwriter playing at intimate venues around UK and Europe. Recent appearances include the Edinburgh Fringe, Brighton Fringe and many festivals with many bands. His relaxed acoustic soul and contemporary folk style has often been compared to James Taylor and Paul Simon; his finger-picking guitar techniques and soft voice has touched the hearts of many people on any stage.

Sophie Langham has been a West-end singer-actress for many years and starred in Eastenders on BBC TV. Her powerful yet poignant voice embraces many genres, lending itself perfectly to the many female legends featured in this show.
