Children under the age of 16 yrs must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Please note that with effect from 31 December 2017 Milestones Museum is no longer part of the Tesco Clubcard Reward Partner and Days Out Token schemes. We will however continue to accept vouchers from both schemes on presentation of your verified Tesco email confirmation, paper token or email token with an expiry date up to and including 30 June 2018. Tesco Clubcard vouchers will not be accepted after that date. Please note that vouchers can be exchanged for day tickets only and not for the Milestones pay once, visit all year ticket. Thank you

To give yourself enough time to see all of the museum, please allow at least 2 - 4 hours for your visit.

How to find us

Milestones Museum, Leisure Park, Churchill Way West, Basingstoke RG22 6PG

By car

Milestones is only 3 miles from the M3 on the Basingstoke Leisure Park.

From Junction 6 of the M3 follow the brown tourist signs for 'Leisure Park', driving clockwise around the ring road. At the Thornycroft Roundabout (you will see Milestones ahead of you), take the first exit into Churchill Way West (B3400), for Milestones and the Leisure Park. Go up to, and all the way round the next roundabout. Enter the Leisure Park via Entrance B, signed Milestones, and turn right. The museum lies straight ahead.

From Junction 7 of the M3 take the A30. Follow signs to Basingstoke town centre and brown tourist signs for 'Leisure Park'. At Winchester Roundabout, follow the brown tourist signs for 'Leisure Park', driving clockwise around the ring road, to the Thornycroft Roundabout.

There is free car parking outside the museum and four accessible parking spaces for disabled visitors close to the entrance, with a drop curb for easy access to the museum.

Please note that if you have a high vehicle, there are height restriction barriers on some of the other free over flow car parks on the Leisure Park near the cinema/fast food restaurants, but not on the Milestones car park. The Milestones car park is locked each night at 6pm (Time of locking gate may differ when we have evening events).

By rail

Basingstoke Station is two miles from Milestones. A Leisure Park Shuttle bus can be taken from outside the Railway Station. Details of fares and timetable for this bus can be found below.

Shuttle bus

Frequent shuttle bus run during the daytime between the station, town centre and Leisure Park stopping directly outside the museum.
