Births, Battles and Beheadings is a stunning exhibition celebrating Hampshire’s glorious royal history. From the time of the Late Iron Age kings to the dark days of the Civil War, the exhibition focuses on seven pivotal historical periods.

Includes a spectacular array of objects and artefacts, including an elaborate roman buckle and 120 silver coins found in a cottage in Dummer dating from the Civil War, as well as a rare Byzantine pail discovered at Breamore, one of only three of its type in Britain. Explore with us the surviving evidence from this incessant fight for power on Hampshire's soil.
