Join us at Winchester City Museum for Made in Hampshire, a pop-up shop with Arts Council England funding giving local, independent makers, producers and artists a space in the heart of Winchester to promote their products and crafts.
From Christmas puddings to dog treats, ceramics, chocolates, jewellery and prints, you'll find inspiration for your Christmas gifts from the wide range of goods on offer from more than 30 local artisans. There is also an in-house coffee shop, Flat Whites', offering coffees, cakes and other delicious goodies. In the run-up to the festive period, there will also be free tastings, talks, demonstrations and more to enjoy. Take a look at the current programme, but do keep checking as more events will be added.
While you're at the museum for Made in Hampshire, why not visit the top two floors where our galleries celebrating Winchester's Iron Age, Roman and Anglo-Saxon past are open to visit as usual.
The pop-up shop will be open until the end of December, when the museum will close for major refurbishment for three months to install Roger Brown's model of Victorian Winchester and make good the lift for disabled access.
